Plug-In Data Acquisition and Signal Conditioning

LabVIEW data acquisition VIs control National Instruments data acquisition hardware using various combinations of analog, digital, and timing I/O functions. The National Instruments boards use the latest technologies, such as custom instrumentation amplifiers, anti-aliasing filters, and true 16-bit accuracy, with the RTSI bus for multiboard synchronization. You can easily integrate these boards with our SCXI signal conditioning products for isolating, amplifying, and multiplexing signals. National Instruments built the data acquisition VIs upon the NI-DAQ driver-level software. NI-DAQ serves as an operating system for data acquisition boards, providing data, buffer, and resource management. You can simultaneously acquire and process data, stream data to and from disk, and simultaneously use multiple functions on multiple boards.

The following is a partial list of the National Instruments data acquisition boards you can use with Lab VIEW. With the multifunction boards, you can perform analog input and output, digital input and output, and digital timing functions with counters.
